ESN-GEL how to use ESN-GEL how to use

NATURAL NAIL OVERLAY

Begin by cleaning the clients hands and nails with warm soap and water. With polish remover, remove nail polish. It is important that all polish around the cuticle line has been removed. Loosen the cuticle with a cuticle pusher making sure all loose cuticles are removed.

Using a 1OO/180 grit nail file, lightly file the natural nail to remove the shine. Then, remove all dust from nails.

Apply the PRE-NAIL PREP generously to the natural nail plate to ensure strong adhesion. When the PRE-NAIL PREP dries to chalky white color, the nail is ready for the BASE GEL

Starting from the cuticle area and moving to the free edge of the nail, apply a thin coat of BASE GEL to the natural nail. If the BASE GEL is too thick, it may turn yellow or lift. Under the U.V. lamp, cure the nails for one minute. While the first hand is curing, you can begin to work on the other hand.

After the nails have been cured, apply a thin layer of CLEAR GEL to each nail. This will create a glossy look. Allow the CLEAR GEL to cure under the U.V. lamp for at least 30 seconds. A second coat can be applied for additional strength. To prevent lifting, inspect each nail to see if gel is touching the cuticle or surrounding areas. If there is, use the pusher to remove it. Once the CLEAR GEL has cured, apply a thin coat of FINISHING GEL to each nail. Allow the FINISHING GEL to cure under the U.V. lamp for at least one minute.

Once the FINISHING GEL has cured, gently pat each nail from the cuticle to the free edge with a cotton ball lightly saturated with GEL CLEANSE to remove any sticky residue. To avoid dulling, use a different cotton ball for each hand. Once you have finished all nails on both hands, clean the client s hands and nails with warm soap and water.

GEL REMOVAL FROM IMPLEMENTS

GEL CLEANSE can be used to remove gel from implements. Simply wipe implements with a cotton ball lightly saturated with GEL CLEANSE to remove any sticky residue.

PROBLEM SOLVING

The following are solutions to the most common Problems experienced while applying gel nails:

  1. If a cured nail feels sticky, gently wipe the nail from the cuticle to the free edge with a cotton ball lightly saturated with GEL CLEANSE to remove any sticky residue.
  2. If the cured nails look dull, they may not have been cleansed with GEL CLEANSE properly.
  3. If the gel won"t harden, it may have been applied too thick or didn"t sit under the U.V. lamp long enough. If that"s not the case, the bulbs in your U.V. lamp may be old or could even be dirty.
  4. If the gel is cracking, you may need to apply a thicker layer of gel. Make sure you pay special attention to the stress areas.
  5. If the finished nails have bubbles, you may have sculpted the FINISHING GEL. Be sure to apply the gel as you would a topcoat to avoid this problem.
  6. If the gel is soft or runny, it may be too warm. Allow it to stand until it is room temperature.
  7. If the gel is peeling, reapply the CLEAR GEL to each affected nail.
